Cocopah students concluded the 2017 Johnson-O'Malley summer education program with a traditional birdsong singing and dancing performance on the West Reservation. Each year, Cocopah students kindergarten through 12th grade participate in a series of workshops that feature academics along with cultural learning opportunities such as language, storytelling, gourd making, and traditional song and dance."
