Ernesto Encinia is this year’s winner of the Cocopah Rio Colorado Father’s Day Scholarship. Encinia is a Cocopah Tribal member who is on his way to the Haskell Indian Nations University where he plans to study forensic science. He was presented with a $500 check on Friday afternoon at the West Reservation.
