The Yuma Metropolitan Planning Organization presented Cocopah Director of Planning Paul Soto with a special certificate for his tenure on the YMPO Executive Board.
Soto served on the board from 1999 through the end of 2014. In addition to a certificate, the board also presented Soto with a personalized engraved clock.
The ceremony was held at Yuma City Hall in late June. Pictured left to right: ADOT Yuma District Engineer Paul Patane, Cocopah Tribe Vice-Chairman J. Deal Begay Jr., Paul Soto, City of Yuma Councilman Gary Knight, Yuma County Board of Supervisor Greg Ferguson, City of San Luis Councilwoman and YMPO Executive Board Chairwoman Maria C. Ramos, and City of Yuma Councilman Ed Thomas.
