A draft Tribal Environmental Report (TER) has been completed for the proposed Swap Meet Project on the Cocopah East Reservation.
The project proposes to construct a swap meet marketplace on approximately 20 acres southwest of the intersection of Highway 95 and County 15th Street in Yuma County, Arizona. Copies of the draft TER are available for review at the Cocopah Indian Tribe Administration Building at 14515 S. Veterans Drive, Somerton, AZ 85350.
The Cocopah Indian Tribe is accepting public comments on the draft TER for 30 days. Deadline is June 29, 2024. Comments may be submitted to Jen Alspach, Cocopah Environmental Protection Office Director at alspachj@cocopah.gov or by mail to 14515 S. Veterans Drive, Somerton, AZ 85350.
