Cocopah Emergency Manager Mike Fila explains how having accurate, real time weather data is essential to emergency preparedness. The Tribe got the station six months ago by way of a grant from the Centers for Disease Control through the Arizona Department of Health and Human Services. The weather station is part of the Tribe's Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program.
