The Cocopah Indian Tribe continues its charitable contributions by donating thousands of dollars to Town of Wellton, and Cities of Somerton and San Luis.
Each year, the Cocopah Indian Tribe donates money to agencies/organizations as part of the casino gaming compact approved by voters under Prop 202.
The money is to be used to benefit the general public including safety, promotion of commerce and economic development.
Each of the entities received a contribution of $9,491.66
