Cocopah Chairwoman Sherry Cordova and Vice-Chairwoman Rosa J. Long represented the tribe at a ribbon cutting ceremony at Joe Munoz Park in Somerton. The city unveiled the park's new basketball court on July 7. Cocopah's annual contribution to the city paid for a substantial portion of the court's construction.
