More than 100 youth volunteers from The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints joined Cocopah representatives to plant more than 300 trees along the Colorado River on the North Reservation. Cocopah Environmental Protection Director Frank Venegas organized the effort. Cocopah Councilwoman Rosa J. Long, Cocopah Girl Scout Troop 1323, and other tribal members participated in event, which was held on Saturday, March 17.
