Summary

You play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences at our single-bay car wash facility. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, assistance, answering inquiries, facilitating smooth car wash transactions, and responsible for the overall operation of the establishment which includes but is not limited to daily revenue reports, sales overview, purchase orders, account overview, and processing bank deposits and supervising staff. Your friendly and customer-focused approach will contribute to the overall success and positive reputation of our business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner as they arrive at the car wash.
• Opening and closing of establishment.
• Provide information about available car wash services, pricing, and any ongoing promotions by collaborating with the Public Relations Department to help maximize marketing strategies, etc.
• Assist customers in selecting the appropriate car wash package based on their needs.
• Assist in washing cars when needed.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card payments.
• Reconciles daily revenue reports such as daily sales sheet, casino voucher sheet, sales overview, sales details, house account overview, and prepares bank deposits.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally via e-mail, and phone calls, and do customer follow-ups.
• Maintain a clean and organized customer service area.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless and efficient customer experience.
• Keep track of customer feedback and communicate relevant information to the management team.
• Upsell additional services or promotions to enhance the customer's car wash experience.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety and cleanliness standards.
• Responsible for processing employee timesheets, leave and employee schedules, etc.
• Responsible for supervising all staff, coaching and addressing employee performance issues, employee performance reviews, etc.
• Responsible for creating monthly invoices, purchase orders, and tracking purchase orders, maintenance orders, etc.
• Operate car wash equipment efficiently and safely.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain consistent service quality.
• Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills for processing transactions and managing customer information.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive customer experience.

Education and/or Experience

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2-year job-related experience, and
• 1 -year in a supervisory position

Summary

This position will be the first contact the customers have with the resort activities department. It is critical that the individual filling this position project a positive impression to the customers, both in their manner, professionalism and appearance. Summary

Under the supervision of the Activities Director & Operations Manager the Head Cook is responsible for performing any combination of duties necessary to facilitate an extremely high-quality food service experience for guests.   The Head Cook is also responsible for maintaining the Kitchen in a safe manner, including adherence to food safety guidelines.  Responsibilities also include supervision of Restaurant Staff. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assure that all food orders are prepared in a high-quality manner using established food safety guidelines.
• Assure the Kitchen, including individual work stations are maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner.
• Make work assignments and direct staff as appropriate.
• Watch for possible safety issues such as wet floors, open oven doors, hot items, etc. Correct safety issues immediately.
• Work with Food and Beverage Manager – Activities Director to maintain established inventory levels necessary for food service.
• Work with Food and Beverage Manager – Activities Director to schedule, plan menus, order supplies for the Restaurant, Banquets and other special food events.

Summary

This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all golf course equipment and machinery. The areas of responsibility include small engine repair, electrical, hydraulics, welding and preventative maintenance. Responsible for grinding and back lapping of all reels on mowers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Golf Course Superintendent in day-to-day operations of the golf course
• Applying fertilizers and pesticides
• Repair and service small engines
• Operation and maintenance of all mowers and tractors.
• Sets up and modifies new equipment as needed
• Service all resort vehicles.
• Supply list of all supplies, parts, safety equipment etc. for superintendent.
• Keep service records on all equipment and vehicles
• Inventory and maintenance of all tools.
• Grind and maintain all mower reels.
• Inspects equipment on course

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of small engine repairs and tune-ups, such as Kohler, 16hp.
• Ability to do welding repairs and fabrication.
• Familiar with the mechanics of hydraulic systems and repair to such systems.
• Knowledge and ability to work with a minimum of supervision.

Qualifications

• Current valid Arizona Driver's License.
• Must be COVID-19 vaccinated or must obtain prior to the completion of the first 120-day training period.

Education and/or Experience

• Associates degree in related field is preferred, completion of trade school, professional or technical certification, specialized training
• 6-months specialized work experience, 3-years work experience in related field or 2-years supervisory work experience

• Experience with hydraulics, electric and operation of general mechanic tools and test equipment.

Summary

Provides Security for the Resort residents and reports fires, theft, vandalism and illegal entry by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Patrols, periodically, buildings and grounds of the Resort.
• Examines doors, windows, buildings and gates to determine that they are secure.
• Warns violators of rule infractions, such as traffic violations or excessive noise, investigate and notify Cocopah Police Department of persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.

• Permits authorized persons to enter property.
• Registers at guard shack to record time of inspection trips.

Summary

Under the immediate supervision of the Slot Manager Assistant, the Slot Technician maintains efficient operations of all Casino slot and video machines.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Walks the Casino floor to spot machine malfunctions.
• Diagnoses slot equipment and ticket redemption kiosk malfunctions to determine necessary service repairs.
• Repair and maintain slot machines and ticket redemption kiosk; fixes bill, ticket, printer, and hopper jams.
• Verify tampering incidents.
• Participate in clean up duties.
• Participate in slot drops.
• Participate in installation, movement, and removal of slot related equipment.
• Maintain proper gaming logs/reports of all machine malfunctions and repairs during shift in order to comply with state and or internal regulations.
• Maintains repair shop and related storage areas in a clean and safe manner.
• Organize parts storage area and effectively communicates with slot parts inventory control technician to maintain proper inventory levels.
• Perform machine verification, audits and tests as needed, maintaining proper documentation of all verifications, audits, test and maintenance.

• Interpret slot accounting/slot communication system issues as related to proper machine functionality/compliance.
• Review slot player tracking system data to determine whether slot machines or master meters need to be repaired.
• Observe players for use of illegal gaming devices and counterfeit coins.
• Act as host and answer patrons concerns questions related to slot machines, redemption kiosk and casino promotions.
• Must understand and comply with departmental internal control regulations.

Summary

Under the immediate Supervision of the Bookkeeper/Finance Director, the Revenue Audit Clerk is responsible for testing whether actual slot cash collections and payouts agree to "should be" amounts based on meter readings and whether these amounts agree to accounting records. He/she is also responsible for testing whether Bingo collections and payouts agree to supporting documentation. Other duties may be assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reconcile cash collections to revenue records for all areas on a daily basis.
• Compare cash collections to slot machine meter reports daily, and investigates significant variances.
• Verify jackpot, hand pay, and machine fill amounts; daily.
• Compare bank deposit amount to soft count, soft drop records, and to accounting records daily.
• Prepare various reports related to cash collections, meter reading, cashier and vault variance, etc.; as directed by the Bookkeeper/Finance Director.
• Compare amounts reported for all categories of Bingo, and Snack bar revenues and/or payouts to supporting documentation, and investigates significant variance.
• Log overages and shortages for each cashier, floor clerks, and other cash handlers.
• Notify appropriate supervisor of all unusual items noted during performance of internal audit work.
• Must understand and comply with departmental internal control regulations.
• The Casino is 24hrs 7 days a week operation and may be required to work any or all shifts.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Under the immediate supervision of the Casino Cage Shift Lead, the Casino Cashier is responsible for a window bank containing various denominations of currency and coins. Complete transactions for customers and internal operations.

Summary

Line Cook is responsible for performing any combination of duties necessary to facilitate an extremely high quality food service experience. Maintain kitchen area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. The line fully stocked and cleaned prior to shift end. Other duties may be assigned by Sous chef at times.

Summary

This position is located in the Facilities Department under the direction of the Facilities Engineer.  In the absences for the Engineer, the Facilities Asst. Under the direction of the Head Start Director, assists in overseeing and directing the planning, organizing, and implementation of education services for children, in addition to classroom teacher duties which include: Developing and implementing individual educational plans for children

Summary

This position serves as a working supervisor and under the general direction of the Patrol Lieutenant, provides guidance and leadership to Patrol officers and creates a work environment that encourages ethical conduct, respectful interpersonal relations, open communication, innovative thinking, and creative problem solving with respect and sensitivity to the Cocopah culture. Work is subject to rotating shift assignments, odd hours of work and on-call status. This Sergeant will be responsible for the safety, security and the preservation of life and property by maintaining law and order within the boundaries of the Cocopah Nation Reservation. Assist with maintaining continual law enforcement and prevention services twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervises and coordinates activities of Patrol Officers; ensure compliance with established policies, procedures and work standards.
• Conducts roll call of officers and issues duty assignments.
• Coordinates assignment and training for officers.

• Review police reports, evidence, and witness statements to determine the strength of cases and legal strategies.

Under the direct supervision of the Tribal Administrator, the Assistant Tribal Administrator assists the Administrator in managing the day to day operations of all Tribal programs and services such as supervising, coordinating, planning and evaluating staff and departments.

Summary

Under the direction of the Patrol Sergeant, the Officer will be responsible for the safety, security and the preservation of life and property by maintaining law and order within the boundaries of the Cocopah Nation Reservation. Assist with maintaining continual law enforcement and prevention services twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week. The Officer will have the responsibility of enforcing Federal, State or Tribal laws and ordinances as necessary. Work is subject to rotating shift assignments, odd hours of work and on-call status.

Summary

 

The position is under the supervision of the Tribal Administrator.  This is a specialized administrative and supervisory position in directing and participating in activities to prevent the abuse of alcohol and drugs.  The employee coordinates the outreach, nonresidential, and client placement services.  Supervision is exercised over paraprofessional counselors and clerical staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervises all opiate response grant staff, including temporary assigned personnel. Plans implements & evaluates grant funded program and submits the necessary reports as required by SAMSHA with the assistance of Wellington Inc. and the Tribal Administration.
• Orientate and assess training needs, arrange for in-service training to staff on a regularly scheduled basis to cover crisis counseling techniques, etc.
• Evaluate job performances of the staff on an annual basis, during probationary periods, and as needed.
• Coordinates staff training with other agencies and within Grant time frames.
• Participates in tribal community activities.
• Assists with and approves all staff work schedules as well as all supportive counseling activities.
• Develops, reviews, and modifies as needed, all budgets that pertain to the Opiate Response Grant.
• Researches, prepares and submits program proposals for funding to the Tribal Administrator.
• Identifies and utilizes available training and technical assistance resources.
• Organizes and meets with an ADAPP Advisory Board every month, sitting as a non-voting member.
• Facilitates community awareness of the Opiate Response Grant by providing educational programs and publicity.
• Works with other tribal departments to collaborate on projects and keep open communication.
• Approves all necessary documents/requests related to payroll and travel, i.e. requisitions and check requests.
• Recommends all hires/terminations of employees to the Tribal Administrator, also disciplinary actions or awards.
• Interview prospective clients, and develops individual treatment plans, as needed.
• Reviews client files to maintain quality assurance.
• Assists in planning weekly group sessions, implements weekly educational sessions, and counsels individually. Counsel out-patient clients individually and conduct home visits.
• Determines program needs for additional staff, and materials and supplies. Works cooperatively with other departments & supportive resource agencies.
• Attends all staff meetings, planning meetings, professional meetings, and workshops. Increases professional knowledge through self-study.
• Obtains and maintains certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor from the Arizona Board for Certification of Substance Abuse Counselors Inc.

Summary

Summary

Under the direction of the tribal Council, the Chief of Police is responsible for planning, overseeing, and directing the activities, operations, and personnel of the department. The Chief of Police performs a variety of complex, administrative, supervisory and professional tasks in maintaining law and order, protecting life and property, and enforcing laws and ordinances of the Cocopah Indian Tribe. The Chief of Police must have a strong knowledge of law enforcement, public safety, crime prevention, and law enforcement management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Directs, plans, and organizes all activities of the Police Department to prevent crime and enforce laws and regulations.
• Maintains law and order in the community, including prevention, detection, and investigation of crimes.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures for the Police Department.
• Addresses the public, council, local leaders, and other law enforcement agencies regarding law enforcement issues.
• Responds to emergencies, major crimes, and critical incidents in the community.
• Promulgates rules and regulations for the department.

Summary

This Position will operate under the terms of the Final MOU between the Cocopah Indian Tribe and the Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E).  This termed position was created under an agreement between the Tribe and PG&E.  This position will be under the direct supervision of the Cultural Resource Manager.  The position will report to the Director of the Cultural Resource Department and as requested by the Cocopah Tribal Council and he/she will have no authority over PG&E operations. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promote and preserve all aspects of the Cocopah Culture.
• Provide the Tribal community with project updates and issues related to the Chromium VI clean-up.
• Effectively communicate as required with Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) officials, Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) officials, technical consultants, attorneys, Tribal Coalition, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and all of public and government officials.
• Establish and maintain effective work relationships, including, but not limited to the following: archaeologist, federal and state agencies, legislative officials, community officials and the public.
• Plan and coordinate the logistics for all meetings, conferences and seminars between the Tribe and other parties: including making travel arrangements, preparing agenda, taking detailed/accurate minutes and providing comprehensive reports, meeting notes and action item listings and deadlines.
• Review extensive and comprehensive work plans, reports; environmental and cultural as well as legal documentation.
• Work in coordination with Tribal technical consultant and other project team members to provide the necessary oral and written responses on behalf of the Tribe.
• Attend and document all Consultative & Tribal Work Group meetings.
• Provide administrative support including time reporting and accountability, follow-up on correspondence, process invoices and maintain official written project documentation and records.
• Create project activity reports which identify items accomplished, upcoming requirements and timelines.
• Participate in project field activities, which coincide with proposed work plans.
• Provide thorough assessment and make recommendations of field work activities as it relates to the preservation of culturally sensitive areas.

Summary

Under the direction of the Tribal Administrator, the incumbent develops a cultural resource management and preservation outline of the Cocopah history and culture.  The Cultural Resource Manager (with approval from the Tribal Council and Tribal Elders) mediates with local officials regarding the protection and Tribal access to the aboriginal lands and natural cultural resources of the Cocopah Tribe.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing a comprehensive program which outlines the Cocopah history and culture, which includes working with the tribal community to develop programs for cultural sustainability.
• Performs research and identifies: Traditional Cultural Places; Sacred Sites; Rock Art; Sleeping Circles; Camp Sites; Cultural elements of the built environment; landscapes that figure into the local community traditions; historical items; etc.
• Attends and/or facilitates meetings with local, state, and federal officials to support the enforcement of federal regulations regarding the stewardship and preservation of natural and cultural resources.
• Oversees the compilation of data and establishment of a data base.
• Attends meetings with Tribal Elders.
• Mediates between local government officials and Cocopah Tribal government.
• Travels to sites of cultural and historic significance to observe and research.
• Prepares and delivers oral and written reports to the Tribal Council, Tribal Elders, and Tribal Administrator on relevant project developments.
• Locates, maps, and photographs cultural and natural resources.
• Protects and preserves cultural resources in the field.

Compiles technical and general data, reports and maps for use by Tribal Resources Planner in developing land-use and economic development decisions, maintains daily and long-term calendars, schedules appointments and maintains a daily log of activities.

• Catalog and Maintain Departmental map files, updating maps related to road systems, housing infrastructure, land use, and zoning, proposed economic development planning.
• Responds to inquiries from community members and when necessary forwards to appropriate department.

Summary

Under the general supervision and direction of the Tribal Administrator/Assistant Tribal Administrator. Serves as the Health Director for the Tribal Health Maintenance Program. The T.H.M.P Director implements the program, policies, and contract requirements. The Director has the overall responsibility for planning, administering, supervising, and coordinating tribal health needs and services. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plans, directs, implements, and evaluates the health maintenance department for the Cocopah Indian Tribe.
• Provides leadership and develops collaboration to the community health needs assessment prioritization and action planning processes, contributing expertise in public health assessment.
• Acts as liaison with other departments, agencies, committees, and individuals; promotes community partnerships to identify and solve health problems.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of adopted community engagement strategies.
• Participates in assessing and evaluating health care services to ensure that people are informed of available programs and services and are assisted in the utilization of those services.
• Develops, prepares, manages, reviews, and monitors the department budget;
• Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual narrative reports.
• Prepares annual health proposals/grants/contracts for funding.
• Prepares proposals for special health projects for the Cocopah community as needed or assigned.
• Develops program work plans, and evaluation procedures, and assesses program performances on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Develops and maintains communication with other tribal programs and other health agencies/clinics.
• Design and implement health programs to provide patient education/prevention to individuals, families, and communities.
• Assesses, develops and implements culturally relevant education and treatment/care for diabetic patients.
• Assess, and develop comprehensive health education, prevention, and maintenance programs to address nursing care, diabetes, obesity, and other health problems.
• Plans and coordinates non-emergency transportation services.Plans and coordinates eye voucher program.
• Plans and coordinates the diabetic-shoe program.
• Plans and coordinates medication pick-up and delivery services.
• Manages multiple health-related grants.
• Supervise and lead the Community Health Workers (CHW), transporters, and staff. Organizes community health events.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Considerable knowledge of the principles of health administration & and management, tribal health delivery system, with a focus on health education, prevention, behavioral health issues, and field nursing care services.
• Considerable knowledge of the laws, rules, and regulations related to Indian Health Services.
• Knowledge of tribal and department policies and procedures.
• Ability to effectively problem solve, prioritize, and meet multiple demands of the job.
• Considerable knowledge in developing, planning, and evaluating budgets and analysis of financial reports.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and verbally.
• Ability to prepare, apply, and evaluate grants/agreements/contracts with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Ability to supervise, coach, and develop staff.
• Ability to inspire, and maximize employee morale and productivity to deliver the highest levels of patient/client satisfaction.
• Knowledge of the Indian Health Services Agency (IHS) regulations and operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel for training and business-related purposes.
• Must possess a current valid Arizona Driver's License.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Service Administration or related health field.
• 3 -years of specialized work experience, 5 years in a management or director position
